Fireside chat with Minister Audrey Tang: Lessons from Taiwan

As the coronavirus crisis hit, Taiwan immediately identified digital initiatives as core to its beating the pandemic. Swiftly mobilising grassroots programmers, the response showcases digital government at its best: reactive, engaged and supportive. And at the helm is Audrey Tang, Taiwan’s Digital Minister. When they were appointed in 2016, Tang was both Taiwan’s youngest ever government minister and the country’s first transgender minister. An acknowledged global thinker and an undisputed leader through the pandemic, we are delighted to be welcoming them to CogXtra.
