About Alex

Alex Turpin (BSc in Physics, MSc in Photonics, and PhD in Physics) is a scientist and entrepreneur, expert in deep tech, including photonics, computer vision and artificial intelligence. He has been Alexander von Humboldt Fellow (2017, Germany) and Lord Kelvin Adam Smith Fellow (2019, University of Glasgow, UK). He has recently been selected as a Junior Leader Fellowship by La Caixa, awarded to the most promising leaders across the world to establish a R&D program in Spain at a centre of their wish.
