Managing Director, Lifted Entertainment
Angela is Managing Director of Lifted Entertainment, the largest producer of entertainment programmes in the UK. The label produces a wide variety of award-winning, unscripted shows from University Challenge, to Love Island to Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
Prior to that, Angela worked in Broadcast managing a number of ITV channels and running the Acquisitions team. At ITV2 she acquired Family Guy and commissioned the award-winning shows: Plebs, The Big Reunion and Love Island. Under her leadership ITV2 won numerous awards including Broadcast Digital Channel of the Year. Prior to that she was Controller of E4 overseeing a ratings purple patch when E4 won both the Broadcast and EITF Channel of the Year. She was the Commissioner for Space Cadets, Misfits and The Inbetweeners.
Angela’s career started in television production.
She currently sits on the board of London First and the Edinburgh Festival TV Foundation. She also sits on the RTS Education Committee and is an Ambassador for Creative Access.
