Clinical Psychologist in Training
Charlie is a Clinical Psychologist in Training due to qualify later this year after completing his professional doctorate with the NHS and University College London (UCL). In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, he established psychological support provisions to promote the wellbeing of frontline staff at Homerton University Hospital in East London. He plans to carry the ethos of “helping the helpers” forward by developing tailored support pathways for public sector staff who are at risk of developing mental health difficulties due to the nature of their work, whilst advocating for organisational change and forward-thinking policies that safeguard the wellbeing of those delivering public services.
