About Helen

Helen Mountfield QC is a barrister at Matrix Chambers in London, well known for her work in constitutional and public law, equality law and human rights. Helen has particular expertise on issues of data privacy and the equality implications of use of big data. She co-chaired the Commission on the Future of Work and is now a trustee of the Institute for the Future of Work. She is also the Principal of Mansfield College, Oxford, renowned for its sector-leading work in broadening participation in elite higher education and advocacy for social and intellectual diversity.
