As Framestore’s Global Realtime Director, Karl has been an integral part in the development of the creative studio’s immersive offering. With a background in engineering and over 15 years’ experience with emerging technologies, Karl is able to offer an incredibly high level of technical understanding and problem-solving to both creative agencies and brand partners to deliver experiential projects.
Karl worked directly with Oculus on Framestore’s award-winning VR experience for Game of Thrones with HBO, and was involved in the motion capture walk-around activation for Merrell’s ‘Trailscape’. He has led several projects that have helped the likes of Samsung, Volkswagen and Waymo deliver integrated marketing campaigns that engage consumers through immersive experiences.
