Lone Frank is an award winning journalist and author with a Ph.D. in neurobiology. As Denmark’s most distinguished science communicator she is a well-known voice in debates about science, technology and society. She produces a weekly podcast, has written and co-produced a number of science documentaries, among them Genetic Me (2015) and Hunting for Hedonia (2018). Of her six books, which are published in several languages, the latest is The Pleasure Shock (Dutton, 2018). Lone Frank has won numerous awards for her writing, among them European Science Writer’s Award and The AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Award. She is based in Copenhagen
