A Beautiful Mess
Naz Kawan is a social entrepreneur and the Founder of A Beautiful Mess, a circular textile factory focused on inclusivity and transparency in the supply chain, in 2020 she won the Tommy Hilfiger Award for most innovative and inclusive business within the fashion industry.
As an answer to the big shortage of medical equipment during the Covid-19 outbreak she co-founded her second company, the Mondmaskerfabriek, the first surgical mask factory in the Netherlands. Through both her companies she is using business as a force for good by creating sustainable jobs for people with a refugee background to help them become socially and economically independent again.
Naz got included on the Top 100 Women in Social Enterprise list of 2021 and she was named Holland’s ‘Top Talent’ 2021 by the Dutch Financial Times.
