About Roger

Roger has served on the National Quantum Technologies Programme Strategic Advisory Board for three years and was a panel member for the 2016 Quantum Technologies Blackett Review. He has held technical, programme management and strategy positions in the oil and gas, civil aviation, defence, security, maritime and rail industries.
Roger read Engineering at Trinity Hall, Cambridge, and is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, Fellow of the Institute of Directors, and Fellow of Royal Institute of Navigation. He is a past president of the Royal Institute of Navigation and was awarded the Institute’s JED Williams Silver Medal in 2018.
