A multimedia journalist for over a decade, Serena reported from across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. She notably spent two years covering the war in Iraq for Reuters and was the BBC’s first international producer on the ground in South Africa to report on the death of Nelson Mandela.
Serena is a Raisina fellow at the Asian Forum on Global Governance and an ambassador of the One Young World global forum for leaders. She is passionate about mentoring and developing young talent and is on the global leadership council for diversity, equity and inclusion at Dataminr.
