Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead
Tomas Flier is Google’s Global Community advisor for the Latinx and Indigenous communities. His role and purpose is to build a more equitable company and world by empowering underrepresented communities and historically marginalized groups. He currently lives in San Francisco, California.
In his 8 years at Google, Tomas worked as a program evaluator on the Product Inclusion team, a product marketer in the Google Photos team from Mountain View, managed Google Cloud’s marketing strategy for LATAM from Brazil, and worked as an online marketing strategist for advertising Agencies in Latin America from Argentina.
He’s been awarded the 2019 Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers™ award by the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility and has been recognized as a One Young World global ambassador.
Outside of Google, he is a founding board member of the think tank RED (“Red de Empresas por la Diversidad”), which aims to create a diversity Indicator to benchmark Argentine companies. In his free time, Tomas is a passionate classical pianist and world traveler.
